Zelda Nendoroid Figures Are Delightful
When Good Smile Company released their Zelda: Breath of the Wild Nendoroid a few years ago it instantly became my #1 desired collectible until I got it in my hot little hands. He’s now sitting happily on my shelf next to my Boba Fett Meisho figure by Tamashii Nations. The Legend of Zelda series has brought me joy for many years because of the grand scope and sense of exploration. And for me, it goes all the way back to the original launch on the NES when I was just a kid.
When Nintendo released The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, I was instantly hooked. I bought a Nintendo Switch specifically for Zelda. The graphics were beautiful and the open world met all of my expectations. I loved every moment of game-play. To me it was a masterpiece and every moment was a pleasure. It even inspired me to go back and play the original game from the NES and show my boys. So when Good Smile Company released their Zelda Nendoroid figures, they had me sold from the beginning.
‘Animist’ Brings Link To Life
All of that comprises such a big part of what makes the stop motion short from Animist so delightful. The Zelda Nendoroid figure of Link and his horse caught my attention immediately, and the carrot bit was fun to watch as well. Who knew Link’s horse could eat so much, right? And the ending was exactly what I needed to conclude the scene. Hopefully Animist will continue to release these stop motion shorts, because I loved it. The execution was perfect.
Kudos to Animist. Now I’ll probably think about giving a carrot to that little horse every time I see my Zelda Nendoroid figure on my shelf. That poor little guy is probably hungry!
